Finally, Summer is over and Fall is here. Are you done getting your fall wardrobe together? When it comes to footwear, there are so many shoe trends at the moment and the trendiest shoe is definitely the ballet flats and kitten heels. However, the underrated shoe trend this season is the thong sandal. The thong sandal or flip-flops is typically a summer/vacation/beach footwear; it has however crept into everyday fashion.
Thong sandals or flip-flops can be styled with maxi skirts and denim (pants or skirts) check out my old post here. And if you want to really take up the styling a top notch, you can ditch the block heel platforms for a thong sandal as can be seen in the styling pic above. This styling would definitely turn heads at any event. I was turned off by this trend at first, but it has somehow grown on me. Below are some cute selections at different price points I found online. We can all include the thong sandals in our fall shoe line-up for now until the weather gives us the clue that it is time to switch to fall boots 😃
