This Summer is one of the hottest so far on record; at least, in the state of Minnesota and one of the ways I have been keeping cool is by wearing lace dresses. I have a stash of lace dresses that I reserved for weddings, baby dedication and baby showers (because in my Nigerian culture, lace is a fabric that is mostly used in the making of special event attire and outfits called "Aso-ebi") which I turned into weekend dresses this summer.

This blue lace midi dress is from Lulus as are my other lace dresses like this red piece here. It was the deep blue color that caught my attention on the site and like I always say; "I love the texture that lace clothing brings to a wardrobe." I styled the lace with a woven bag and cross strap sandals; very simple and laid back look. Thanks so much for reading.
