ᘓhristmas is here and it's my most beautiful and miraculous time of the year. When I look around, I see all these beautiful colors of red, greens, gold and lots of sparkle that instantly lift my mood. This must be why a red or green outfit is a no brainer for this season. There are lots of beautiful dresses; solids, sequins, tulle, glitter...that reflects the Christmas holiday season but then, have you thought of the Pantsuit as an alternative to a dress for a holiday outfit? Have you thought of a red pantsuit? Well, I did this year and here it goes...
Here Here Here
This is my first holiday outfit for this year and I actually wore this outfit to Church yesterday for our Christmas Service. The red velvet blazer is a thrifted piece along with the sequin clutch that I purchased from Goodwill recently and the neck bow tie blouse and red pants are from Loft. The plaid pumps are an old purchase that get heavy rotation every Christmas. So, here it goes, this simple outfit can be worn to Christmas holiday events at work, to Church or any other events this season that you would wear a dress to. What makes the pantsuit really festive is the red velvet blazer.
The pairing/juxtaposition of the tie neck blouse and the velvet blouse is what really makes this outfit work as a festive/holiday outfit opposed to a regular plain red pantsuit like the one I blogged about here. However, any red pantsuit would work as a holiday outfit too especially with the addition of accessories like this sequin Lulu Townsend Clutch previously blogged about here. And when the pantsuit is fitted, it is even more chic and fun to wear.
What about you? What are your views on Christmas? As a Christian, I love Christmas because it symbolizes the birth of my (and our savior) Jesus Christ. It is not the actual birthday for Jesus Christ as historic records have shown but the holiday/day, December 25th is a symbolic holiday and I'm always excited when the holiday comes around every year. And then, my youngest's birthday is on Christmas. If you do not know, I am a Mom of four kids ranging in age from twelve to almost six and my youngest turns six this Christmas. So, in my home, Christmas is a double celebration. Thanks so much for reading and see you again in my next post. A very, merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
