The color purple is still as trendy as ever in this space along with other shades of the color; lavender, lilac...so you are going to be seeing a lot of outfit inspiration on here. The above set was created by me on Shoplook.io Website and I love the color combination and accessories I paired together for the look. However, the pieces that make up the look are quite expensive and I decided to link up less expensive items below just in case we need some inspiration in recreating this look. Talking about this look, the skirt is a statement piece mostly for the beautiful color and the asymmetrical design. When I first saw it, I knew right away that I wanted to style it as a summer piece so I paired a pair of sunglasses with it and mint color accessories in the bag and pointed toe mules. The multi color earrings tied the whole look together. This look can be worn to a graduation party or to a wedding. Click on the links below to check out budget friendly pieces.

Now let's talk about the process. Years ago, when I first started blogging, there was a website called POLYVORE where you could go and put looks together in a set or mood board like I did above and lots and lots of fashion bloggers and fashion students, interior decorators and artists used the site for creating and networking. To everyone's surprise, the website was sold (without notice or heads up to its users) to a fashion company called SSENSE who took over the website immediately. Users were eventually given a link to download their content and information from the site but the process was rigorous and most people lost their designs and creations including just sincerely here 🙋 If you are a fashion blogger and used Polyvore to create content for your site, you would know what I am talking about. Right now, if you look at my archive from previous years especially in 2016, you are going to find empty blog posts because Polyvore disappeared and all the links and fashion content created on the site disappeared too because they were no longer supported.
So, why am I sharing this in this Post? I'm sharing this to let you know that there are other design websites that have since opened that are similar to Polyvore that you can use to style outfit outfits or other artistic content for your site. Two of my favorites are; Shoplook.io and Fashmates It is free to register on the sites and they work or operate just like old Polyvore. If you want to check out some of my other creations on both sites, check out my styling INSTAGRAM @Styleboardcreator and TWITTER: @Styleboardcrea_
Love the look, the details on the hem is amazing. I miss Polyvore so much! It was so perfect and easy use!
