Hi Beauties, I hope the week is going great. For those in the United States, it's a short work week because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday and that is a good thing. Today's post is about how to style pastels for work and when I say pastels, I mean those light yummy colors like creams, yellow, light and baby blues, mint, lilacs, pink, tan...you know what I mean. Pastels are a big deal this season and I call them "happy colors." I think the key to making pastels work in a corporate work environment is to break up the pastels; that is, pick only one pastel color in a top or bottom and pair it with a slightly darker shade like I did with this grey plaid blazer. "Pastel- look" from head to toe is a little too festive for a corporate work setting. I completed the look by adding metallic accessories with my metallic tote and metallic cap-toe white pumps.
