Hi Everyone 😀 So, now it's back to reality after all the Thanksgiving festivities and holiday deals and shopping. Did you get to do any black Friday or cyber Monday shopping? I did a little shopping and get some items I felt was missing in my closet. I have been seeing beautiful beret style on insta and wanted to get my hands on one because you know I try to indulge in affordable fashion trends. So, I did some browsing and found some affordable berets on Forever 21 like this black color here and this plaid prints style here. Although the red beret is a little too common and basic, I like the fact that it's eye catching and can add a huge dose of color to an outfit. I ended up getting myself one from the Shein website here. I have also wanted a black color polka dots pumps for a while and I found an affordable pair at 40 % discount on the Macy's Website. I still have a few things on my list like a sequin skirt and cowboy boots but I'm not planning on buying anything full price anymore; just show me the deals, deals, deals...😆
Now, unto this outfit; I'm wearing cold weather favorites from my closet; a cream color cable knit sweater, an old purchase from Loft, a gingham prints bomber jacket and slim fit denim. I completed the look with a pair of grey tall riding boots and a green color knit snood and a green color croc embossed vintage bucket bag that I blogged about here, years ago. The bag is a thrift find and totally fits into the modern animal prints trend. Actually, croc effect leather bags are the new thing now. I like the fact that the green snood and bag gives a op of color to the outfit and the snood gives an extra layer of warmth around the neck. I must say this is my casual look on a very cold day. Apart from the bomber jacket, another outer wear you can wear to achieve a cool casual style look is the moto leather jacket. It's starting to get really cold in Minnesota and I have got all my coats and jackets ready to go. Thanks so much for reading.
