Pom-pom Sandals have been such a huge trend this summer and while there are lots of styles to choose from at various shoe brands and designers, it is also very easy to design and style yourself without spending a lot of money. The pair pictured above is one of the couple of designs/DIY I did on my old pair of sandals (I did a couple) and I have worn them on several occasions and got lots of complements. I shared the DIY videos on my snapchat (beautyojo) and would be sharing instructions here below if you want to try it out. Pom-poms can be purchased in the Arts and Craft aisle of most stores and you can also purchase them online.
**Shoe laces are optional. You'll only need them if you want to attach straps (laces) to your sandals (if the sandals do not have any straps) and then, you can just glue or sew them unto the shoe/sandals.
It is important to choose a color scheme/design before hand and you can make your choice by looking at pictures of other sandals that you like or have viewed in stores or online. Make sure the color of pom-poms that you buy goes with/complement the color of your shoes.
