The title of this post just makes me smile because the truth is; I do not like Mustard and Oatmeal; that is, if you are talking about food. I'm actually talking about the colors here; my mustard color cap sleeved sweater and my oat meal color skirt. I wore this outfit last month on a beautiful fall day speaking of which; we have been having a warm beautiful Autumn here in Minnesota but the forecast is that it is going to get really cold fast in the next few days; oh well...
This oatmeal color tweed skirt was custom made by my seamstress years ago; I saw the fabric at the fabric store and fell in love with it; it is durable and of high quality. The sweater is an old purchase from Nordstrom. The shoes are Audrey Brooke and a very old purchase from DSW. The fringed bag is an old purchase from a Vintage store about three years ago when I had no idea that fringe was going to be a trend; fast forward to now...fringe is trending. Don't you just love it when fashion aligns like that?
Thanksgiving is around the corner and though it is the recognized holiday for giving thanks; let's not forget that we need to thank God for each day. There are so many wonderful things he has done for you whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. I have so many pictures saved up in my folder and I'll be doing a post each day from now on if I can...:-). I am also active on instagram now and you can find me at @beautyojo So, I might not like mustard and oatmeal as food but I really do like them as colors and the combination works well for me.
Thanks so much for stopping by
