Hi Everyone, I hope the week is going well. This is what I wore last week to my son's school for the parents/teachers conference. It was a very cold, cold day and all I cared about was getting warm so, I put on layers and layers of clothing. I did have a baby nine weeks ago (just in case there is anyone reading this post/blog for the first time) and I still have on the baby/pregnancy weight but that is not what makes me huge in this picture...:-) Like I said before, it is all the layers of clothing.
So, why am I emphasizing this fact? The point I am really trying to make is this. Fat, skinny, medium or whatever; love them all! Do not discriminate. A person might be fat or so skinny right now and you do not know why or how they are like that or what brought them there so do not be so quick to throw stones...:-) Also, some might be gay while others are straight and it is okay. Never, never discriminate. The Bible never teaches discrimination. When Jesus Christ was on this earth, he loved everyone; sinners, tax collectors, Jews, brown or white. He loved everyone irrespective of their orientation and that was why he was able to die for us all so that we can be cleansed of our sins. Jesus ate with the tax collectors (Luke 19: 1-10) who were regarded as great sinners at that time because of their extortion and corruption. Jesus also went further to say that he did not come for the righteous but the unrighteous; the healthy people do not need a doctor, only the sick do. (Matthew 9: 11-13)
Now, back to my outfit; I am wearing a sweater dress (previously worn here) as a top. I have had this corduroy midi skirt for a while and it only gets worn on very chilly days as this. The long black tights and booties were needed as part of the "getting warm campaign"...:-). Then I had to throw in a splash of color with the fuchsia scarf. There were various pieces of clothing underneath it all too and then a jacket which I took off to take these pictures. It started snowing again as I took the pictures and the snow flakes just whipped across my face. Anyway, In sub zero temperatures, the first focus is to get warm rather than being stylish; and yes, I looked fat and bulky but it's all good. "Love All.."
Thanks for visiting and for leaving your warm and stylish comments...:-)
