Black and white is always so simple and easy to put together considering that they can be put together in hundreds of ways. I featured some of my black and white looks on the blog last year but decided to do a count down of the ones I'm doing this year. So, this is black and white - two. For black and white - one, check here.
I started my blog to document my style makeover and I think it is going well gradually. I used to be in a lot of dark and greys and did not feel like I looked my best. Now, I'm starting to infuse some color into my closet but it does not hurt to do a black and white look or greys once in a while. Style is somewhat subjective most times and some people are comfortable in black the whole year round. I had a course mate in one of my classes when I was in college who wore black outfits to class the entire semester and I used to be amazed at this. I thought of having a conversation with her about her style but was too busy to do so. You see, fashion can be a conversation starter and we can preach any message with the way we dress. I guess everyone should be happy in their comfort zone but for me, I think color is fun. There is a reason God created us black, white and brown. There is a reason roses are red and white and pink; There is a reason trees are short and tall. Diversity is fun and diversity is beautiful. Above all, God made all things beautiful.
